Starting March 18th, join Franck leclerc for a five-week archery program in Lanuejouls.Every Friday evening, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., you’ll hone your skills in the Lanuejouls multipurpose hall. This program is perfect for adults adn teenagers aged 12 and above. The cost for the entire five-session program is €50.

Expanding Horizons: Archery and Culinary Adventures with Olympic Medalist, Anne-Sophie Mathis!

Anne-Sophie: Thanks for having me. It’s great to be here!
Moderator: We’re excited to chat with you, especially sence the Social Center is offering some fantastic new activities this spring.As someone who has dedicated your life to achieving peak physical excellence, what are your thoughts on the archery program launching on March 18th?
Anne-Sophie: I think it’s fantastic to see archery gaining popularity. It demands incredible focus, precision, and discipline – qualities that translate far beyond the sport itself.
Moderator: Absolutely. And the fact that it’s open to both adults and teens aged 12 and above is wonderful. It’s a great prospect for families to engage in a fun, challenging activity together.And at €50 for the entire five-week program, it’s incredibly affordable.
Anne-Sophie: Agreed! Accessibility is crucial. Everyone deserves the chance to explore new passions and challenge themselves, nonetheless of their financial situation.
Moderator: Moving on to another exciting offering, the Social Center is also hosting a series of Japanese culinary workshops. What are your thoughts on exploring new cultures through food?
Anne-Sophie: Food is such a powerful connector. Learning about different cuisines opens your mind to new flavors, traditions, and ways of life. Japanese cuisine, in particular, is renowned for its artistry, freshness, and balance – qualities that resonate with any athlete’s lifestyle.
Moderator: I completely agree. There’s a certain discipline and respect for ingredients that aligns perfectly with the sporting spirit.
Moderator: Anne-Sophie, you’ve achieved incredible heights in your athletic career. What advice would you give to individuals who are hesitant to try something new, to step outside their comfort zone like these programs encourage?
Anne-sophie: The biggest hurdle is often ourselves. We fear failure, we doubt our abilities. But growth happens when we push beyond those limitations. Embrace the challenge, be open to learning, and remember that the joy is in the journey, not just the destination.
