Archery competition in the Atella Valley of Horses

Playful archery demonstration competition on horseback was held at the Valle dei Cavalli farmhouse in the Piano district of Carda di Atella which recorded the participation of numerous athletes and a large public lover of the figure of the horse, equitourism, trails , transhumance and more, but also training and disciplines for many young and passionate people.
The event strongly desired by the GEAN association of Atella chaired by Salvatore Summa with the leading role of Stefano Summa, recognized as a champion of archery on horseback and a great master and connoisseur of the horse.
Horse shooting is a discipline that is increasingly affirming itself among the various sports disciplines and is one of the first objectives that Salvatore and Stefano Summa with their association try to bring it to the national limelight and its recognition as a CONI sport.
This discipline is involving many boys and girls in the area of ​​the Melfese and upper bradano vulure and is increasingly a reality capable of showing possible talents at an international level.
The competition aims to identify the most expressive and talented athletes.

PASSO category: first place Alessia Pia Sabia, second Carmela Guglielmi and third Mariapia Veltri;
Gallop category: first place Francesco Veltri, second Daniel Lagonigro and third Emanuele D’Andrea:

An agreement that will give life to innovative projects linked to Lucanian traditions, to enhance the figure of the horse and to related activities as well as to a series of events in the area that will highlight the typical products of Basilicata and cultural activities related to the Lucanian brigandage and stories of the past as well as riding routes through the beautiful hills of Lucania up to the beaches of the Ionian sea.
