Arthur Bauchet, a 21-year-old skiing sensation from France, solidified his status as a Paralympic powerhouse by securing his third gold medal at the Beijing Games. The briançon ski club athlete dominated the slopes of Yanqing, leaving Chinese skier Liang Jingyi and New Zealander Adam Hall trailing behind.

Simultaneously occurring, on the cross-country trails of Zhangjiakou, French skiers Benjamin Daviet and anthony Chalençon claimed silver in the 4 x 2.5km open relay. The duo, who previously won gold together in Pyeongchang in 2018, were edged out by a strong Ukrainian team. This silver medal adds to Daviet’s already impressive haul at these Games,wich includes gold in both cross-country sprint and biathlon individual,as well as silver in the middle-distance event.
