From March 7 to 12, the Mexican town of Monterrey will experience a new tennis tournament after the WTA dispute and it will be a category 100 ATP Challenger on hard court

It will be the seventh time that this tournament will be played with an illustrious list of winners where David Ferrer appears as champion. A veteran Spanish tennis player like Fernando Verdasco will be the one to lead a table where there will only be two Top 200. The second that occupies a better position than the encrypted classification is the British Jay Clarke.

Verdasco will not be the only Spanish player to be present at this tournament as we will be able to witness the Catalan Tommy Robredo returning to action after several months of inactivity. Among the Argentines, we will have Juan Pablo Ficovich who will be seeded. A table of 32 tennis players in which three places have been by invitation. There have been two for Americans such as the experienced Ryan Harrison or Milledge Cossu or the best Mexican player today such as Álex Hernández who also enjoyed an invitation to the ATP 500 in Acapulco.
