Badminton confirms presence with 11 countries in Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games

For three days, badminton will bring together the best athletes from 11 countries in Valledupar during the 2022 Bolivarian Games.

With a ready stage such as the Julio Villazón Baquero auditorium, from the Fundación Colegio Bilingüe, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, will compete for 22 medals, distributed in 6 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze.

The racket and shuttlecock sport will have competitions in the modalities of: singles for men and women, doubles for men and women, and mixed doubles, where the couple is made up of a man and a woman; and mixed teams.

More than 160 players were registered by the different Olympic committees and national federations.

The badminton actions will begin on June 25 and end on June 28, according to the guidelines proposed by the Bolivarianos 2022 organization and the South American Badminton Confederation.

Other disciplines with full quotas are skating, table tennis, field tennis, fencing, swimming, among others, taking into account that 11 invited countries will participate in the Bolivarian Games, which will take place from June 24 to July 5, 2022, in Valledupar.
