Badminton Denmark and DGI Badminton are in close dialogue with the Ukrainian Badminton Federation for help

Badminton Denmark and DGI Badminton are in dialogue with the Ukrainian badminton fund to help, among other things, badminton players and coaches who come to Denmark. Badminton Denmark’s director, Bo Jensen, will meet with Luca Crippa, technical director of the Ukrainian Badminton Federation, in 9 days at Badminton Europe’s Annual Meeting, where they will discuss more concrete help options.

Several Danish badminton clubs have already approached Badminton Denmark and DGI Badminton with a desire to help Ukrainian badminton players and coaches in one way or another. To all of them, Badminton Denmark and DGI Badminton would like to say a big thank you.

Badminton Denmark and DGI Badminton are in close dialogue with the Ukrainian Badminton Federation about various initiatives that can help Ukrainians who come to Denmark. It can be with contact to relevant Danish badminton clubs, companies, residences, etc.

At the Badminton Europe Annual Meeting on 7-9. April, Badminton Denmark’s director, Bo Jensen, will meet with Luca Crippa, technical director of the Ukrainian Badminton Federation. At the meeting, they will talk about how Badminton Denmark, DGI Badminton and the Danish badminton clubs can help in both the short and long term.

Badminton Denmark and DGI Badminton will therefore encourage all Danish badminton clubs that want to help with, for example, housing, access to training, clothing, badminton equipment, etc. to send an email to Bo Jensen. Then Badminton Denmark will coordinate with the Ukrainian federation and the individuals who come to the country.

Clubs that want help on how they can best include players and coaches from Ukraine, as well as create a good framework for participation in the club’s training and social activities can get help here from DGI Badminton’s regional and sports consultants.
