Bakery Jatta: district court rejects the opening of proceedings – 2. Bundesliga

Good news for Bakery Jatta (23)! The HSV professional does not have to answer in court.

An official statement from the Hamburg judiciary states: “The district court of Hamburg-Altona has rejected the opening of the main proceedings because, based on the results of the investigation, it does not see sufficient suspicion of the accused.” First, the “Hamburger Abendblatt” reported on it.

In December 2021, the public prosecutor’s office brought charges of violating the Residence Act. The Gambier Bakery Jatta should therefore actually be called Bakary Daffeh and be two and a half years older. Jatta denies the allegations of playing under a false identity.

Jatta’s lawyer Thomas Bliwier had tried to prevent the opening of the main proceedings with an objection. Apparently with success. Bliwier said to the German Press Agency (dpa): “The public prosecutor’s office could not show that Mr. Jatta deceived.”

The “Abendblatt” quotes the following from the district court’s decision: “The ordering of subsequent investigations is not necessary. According to the results of the investigation, it must be assumed with sufficient certainty that the accused’s name is Bakery Jatta and that he was born on June 6th, 1998.”
