fit. Noun is omen. The Traiskirchner Grasshoppers trained over the winter months in the Vöslau fitness club of the same name. “In Vöslau we also had the opportunity to convert a tennis hall into a baseball hall,” reports chairman Peter Feichtinger: “It works very well.”
In the next few days, the hoppers will move to the outdoor field. “So that we can get used to the distances again. Training with the right distances is not possible indoors in Austria.”
There is still a month and a half left before the start of the Bundesliga season.
“We can also achieve a reasonable play-off ranking like this.”

On April 16, Traiskirchen starts at home against Schwechat, and from then on wants to make you forget the messed up previous season, which ended with the abrupt failure in the first play-off round. The Hoppers are still looking for legionnaires until the season opener.
“But we don’t have a lot of stress with it. We can also achieve a reasonable play-off ranking like this,” Feichtinger trusts in the strength of Tobias Kiefer, Philipp Eckel and Co.
