We’re lucky enough to have Coach Ramirez, a local legend with decades of experiencecoaching basketball in Monclova, joining us today to give us his insights on the upcoming showdown.
Coach Ramirez, welcome to the show. this tournament is bringing together some serious talent. What are your initial thoughts on the lineup?
Coach Ramirez: Thanks for having me. This is a fantastic event for Monclova, and the level of competition is impressive. I’m excited to see the Austin Money team from Texas bringing their fast-paced style. We know Uncle Drew from Monterrey – they’re always a force to be reckoned with. And of course,we’re rooting hard for our local teams,Ballers and Primo Sport,to make their mark.
You mentioned the different play styles. Do you think any team has a particular advantage going into this tournament?
Coach Ramirez: I wouldn’t say anyone has a clear advantage. It all comes down to execution and who can adapt on the fly.
That’s an exciting mix! What are you most looking forward to seeing on Saturday?
Coach Ramirez: Honestly, I’m just looking forward to watching some good, competitive basketball. Seeing these young athletes push themselves and showcase their skills is always inspiring. I have a feeling we’re going to be treated to some incredible slam dunks, clutch shots, and nail-biting finishes.
We’re encouraging folks to bring friends and family and make it a whole day of fun. What would you say to those who might be on the fence about attending?
