Within the acts of the 25th anniversary of the Gernika KESB and in the context of the celebration of March 8, next Monday, March 14, two exhibition matches will be held between two of the leading women’s sports teams in Bizkaia, Lointek Gernika Bizkaia and Athletic Club. The appointment will be at the Maloste Sports Center in Gernika-Lumo at 7:00 p.m.
Pay tribute to women’s sports and their athletes, specifically the elite. This is the objective of the match that will be held next Monday, March 14, at the Maloste Sports Center. The Gernika KESB thus wants to start its 25th anniversary events with the collaboration of Athletic Club and the Department of Employment, Social Inclusion and Equality of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
The clash was scheduled to take place on March 8 itself, but the competitive commitments of both teams have forced the date to be readjusted, which will finally be this coming Monday the 14th.
The event will start at 7:00 p.m., and in the first instance a soccer match will be played with two parts of 10 minutes each; and in the second instance, a basketball match will be played with 2 parts of 10 minutes. The teams will be made up of mixed players from both teams, so that in both modalities there are chances of victory for both groups.
Access will be free until full capacity is reached and the doors will be open to the public from 6:30 p.m.
