The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) witnessed a major upset on the 24th matchday as league leaders Bayern Munich suffered a crushing 61-96 defeat at the hands of the telekom Baskets Bonn.this unexpected loss shrinks Bayern’s lead over their closest pursuers to a mere two points.

Despite the return of national player Paul Zipser, who logged nearly 21 minutes and contributed two points after a lengthy absence due to a brain operation, Bayern struggled to find their rhythm. Deshaun Thomas emerged as their top scorer with 14 points,but it wasn’t enough to counter Bonn’s offensive onslaught.
