Already in the first end, the Estonians showed their superiority, winning it with 2: 0, but after the second, the result was even more unpleasant – 4: 0 in favor of the neighboring country. In the third end, Latvia finally managed to “steal” one point. In the fourth end, Latvia gradually started to impose its game, and the difference in the result decreased to 2: 4.
So far, the team has won three games after three games – it has managed to prove its superiority over South Korea and Slovakia, but Canada has suffered a loss.
Already at 8.30 the next game, in which the Latvian wheelchair team will meet with the Swedish team. Live broadcast on LTV7 and LSM.lv.
The Latvian team consists of skip Polina Rožkova, Ojārs Briedis, Agris Lasmans, Aleksandrs Dimbovskis and Sergejs Djačenko, as well as coach Arnis Veidemanis.
On Tuesday, Latvian wheelchair riders will meet with Switzerland and Norway, on Wednesday with the United States, and on Thursday with Great Britain and China. The Russian team has been disqualified for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The Winter Paralympic Games take place from March 4 to 13. Latvia is represented in the games by a wheelchair team.
