Latvian basketball player Dāvis Bertāns won two points in the game of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on Monday, with the Dallas Mavericks team winning. The Dallas home team won the Utah Jazz with 111: 103 (30:24, 30:25, 25:19, 26:35) and celebrated their fifth success in a row.
Bertan played for 14 minutes and 16 seconds, taking one of three two-point shots without hitting the only long shot. Rūjienis also won two rebounds, gave one assists, intercepted one ball and violated the rules once. The Mavericks threw Bertan nine points more than they let in, which was the second best in the team.
In the home ranks, Luka Dončičs scored 35 points and won 16 rebounds, achieving his best result of the season in the fight under the baskets. Spencer Dinvidius, who was included in the exchange with Bertan, scored 23 points, while Dorian Finn-Smith added 21 points. Bojans Bogdanovičs was the top scorer with 21 points, but Rūdijs Gobērs scored 12 points and 13 balls under the baskets.
The Jazz were in the lead for only 13 seconds in the match and finished the series with five away games with a balance of 3-2. The housewives of both teams have won six games in a row and the Mavericks will have the opportunity to extend the series on March 27. With 40 wins in 65 games, the Mavericks rank fifth in the Western Conference, while Jazz has won 64 battles and is fourth. The two teams could also meet in the first round of the playoffs.
The Dallas will finish a series of four home games with the New York Knicks on Wednesday and then go out for five games in a row.
