Kristiansen left all the shooting ranges without mistakes.
For Norway, this was the third podium in his career and the first in the mass start competition.
The second place went to the French Canteen Fillon-Mayor, who was 5.9 seconds behind the winner. He made one mistake in the penultimate shooting range.
In third place is Norwegian Severert Baken, for whom this was the first podium in his career at the World Cup stage. He lost 15.5 seconds to the winner.
Latvia was not represented in this competition.
30 participants took part in the mass start, covering a distance of 15 kilometers with four shooting ranges.
At 16.15, women will go on the track. LTV7 and LSM.lv will be able to watch it live.
The Otepää stage will end on Sunday with mixed relays.
