The parade will start and end at the Merdeka Palace. Bo Bendsneyder is one of the drivers who will take part in the event.

“I can’t wait to meet the President (Jokowi), but I’m still nervous and I don’t know what will be discussed later. The point is I want to meet the president soon,” said Bo Bendsneyder at Mandalika GP Hub Mall Epicentrum Walk, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday ( 10/3/2022).

For information, Bo Bendsneyder is the mainstay of the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team racer. The man from the Netherlands has been defending this team since last season.

He is rumored to have Indonesian descent and Bo Bendsneyder confirmed the claim. The moment to join the parade with Jokowi will be an emotional thing for him.

Bo Bendsneyder’s teammate, Gabriel Rodrigo, will also participate in the parade. He admitted that he was looking forward to these activities before taking action in Moto2 Mandalika.

“I hope he (Jokowi) supports our team, because this is a good opportunity for Indonesian riders to go to MotoGP,” said Gabriel, who has just moved up to Moto2.

Meanwhile, Director of Strategy Communication and Business Development of Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team, Charles Bonar Sirait, revealed Jokowi’s plans when he met two of his team’s drivers.

“I got the leak, Bo and Gabriel will be asked by the President, are they able to get on the podium one or two or not? I told both of them to be ready when asked that,” said Charles.

Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team targets the two riders to be on the podium in the upcoming Moto2 race. Status as the host, Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team wants to make fans of racing in the country proud.

“If it can be controlled by the 1st and 2nd place podiums, it is not an easy dream but you have to fight because Pertamina and we will support you. We pray once again for Gabriel Rodrigo and Bo Bendsneyder,” said Charles.
