Bukayo Saka be a patient in the final Euro 2020. Now, the young British star was performing brilliantly with Arsenal.

Saka, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford drew criticism from England fans last summer. The three of them were accused of being the culprits of the defeat The Three Lions against Italy in the Euro 2020 final.

It’s nothing, Saka along with Sanco and Rashford failed to score when appointed as penalty takers in the high-five round. The English national team gave up 2-3 and buried the dream of winning the European Cup.

This bitter experience became a valuable lesson for Bukayo Saka. The 20-year-old winger slowly got up and found his best performance with Arsenal.

Saka has collected 8 goals and 5 assists for Arsenal in 25 Premier League games for 2021/2022. Most recently, academy dropout The Gunners he scored a goal when Arsenal won 3-2 over Watford, Sunday (6/3/2022).

Saka’s contribution has led Arsenal to currently fourth in the Premier League standings. Mikel Arteta as the manager of the London Cannon also gave his appreciation to the young star.

In Arteta’s view, Saka developed after the disastrous Euro 2020 final. Saka had full support at the Emirates Stadium, so he could rise from adversity.

“I think Bukayo has the experience that many players didn’t have last summer. I feel it’s good for his career, because the world of football shows him love and respect,” said Arteta after the Watford vs Arsenal match, quoted from The Sun.

“I think it’s a big boost for him to understand that people always support him in difficult times. The club treats him like any other team,” Arteta added.

“Next it’s about giving him space. What he’s doing is phenomenal and he needs that space. Don’t read too much, do what you want to do.”

“Football is his priority in life and you can see him every day in training. He needs to continue this attitude and live as he is doing now,” he said of Bukayo Saka.
