Erling Haaland is said to have met with representatives of FC Barcelona in Munich. Barca coach Xavi doesn’t deny it.
Barca coach Xavi has not denied speculation about a secret meeting with BVB star Erling Haaland in Munich. “I can’t give any details. I can only say that we are working for the present and the future of the club. And if we can announce something, we will do it,” said Xavi at the press conference before the league game against Elche when asked if he could reveal details about his trip to Munich.
Background: On Friday, several Spanish media reported on a meeting between several Barcelona representatives and Haaland in Munich last week. Those responsible are said to have been Xavi and advisor Jordi Cruyff.
BVB star Haaland: Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested
On Wednesday they had image Photos of Haaland published, showing him leaving the Brenner restaurant in Munich’s Maximilianstrasse.
