Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Fajar Alfian won the men’s doubles at the Swiss Open 2022.
SUPERBALL.ID – Indonesian men’s doubles pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto officially closed the March edition of the BWF World Tour 2022 sweetly.
They won the Swiss Open 2022 tournament which took place on March 22-27.
In the final party that took place on Sunday (27/3/2022), Fajar/Rian managed to beat the Malaysian men’s doubles, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin.
In the final match, Fajar/Rian won 21-18, 21-19.
These results made Fajar/Rian end the series of title droughts they had experienced since 2019, when they last won the Korea Open.
Getting a positive result at the Swiss Open 2022 makes Fajar/Rian very happy because they can feel the title again.
“Alhamdulillah, I am grateful and proud to finally be able to win again,” said Rian, as quoted by SuperBall.id through the official PBSI website.
However, Fajar/Rian do not want to be complacent because they are aware that there are still many tournaments to go through.
This will keep them working as hard as possible in order to give their best in every tournament.
