Camara ends in Dynamo! It’s a big disappointment, Petr Dědek said on the Hockey show the day after

Tipsport Extraliga has a quarter-final duel, now it is entering the next phase of the elimination part. Only the four best clubs remain in the game, which have managed to successfully cope with all the pitfalls that fate has given them so far. Now is the time to see what the semi-final pairs will look like. As in previous rounds of the playoffs, this time the Ruiku editorial staff offers their tips.

Let’s start with a brief look at the last quarterfinals. While we were quite successful in the preliminary round, this time it was not so accurate on our part. We were completely out in the case of Mountfield, which surprisingly dropped out of the first place with Mladá Boleslav.

We were quite accurate in the process of the Steelmakers, where we believed the Vítkovice in at least one victory in the series. In the next two series, we bet on seven matches, which did not materialize. We can only have partial satisfaction with the Sparta process.

SUMMARY FOURTH FINALS

Mountfield HK – Mlada Boleslav
Editor’s tip – 4: 1
State of the series – 1: 4

Steelworks Třinec – Vítkovice Rider
Editor’s tip – 4: 1
The score is now 4: 0

Sparta Prague – White Tigers Liberec
Editor’s tip – 4: 3
Series condition – 4: 1

Engine B&W – Dynamo Pardubice
Editor’s tip – 3: 4
Series condition – 4: 1

SEMIFINAL TIPS

Now we are at the beginning of the next series, which will start at 0: 0. Ten Edik editors took part in betting on the semifinal duels.

TŘINEC STEELS vs. MLADA BOLESLAV

Just like last year, this year we will have a semi-final battle between Třinec and Mladá Boleslav. You can probably say that the word battle is used in the right place in this case.

More than one fan will immediately remember the duel of these teams from last year. We have to admit that hockey didn’t take on much attractiveness at the time. Tugging for seven matches often seemed like endless waiting for an opponent’s mistake.

Whoever did more of them just took a point in the series. The details or vaguely set accuracy of the meter was often decided by the judges. The highlight was the controversial situation from the third period of the seventh match, when the referees did not whistle the skaters’ penalty shootings. Subsequently, the Steelmakers struck a decisive blow in the power plant.

Why are we going back to last season so much? It can be assumed that this year will be an extremely tactical battle for the finals. So maybe we hope that the full stands will sometimes go crazy for a team to open the game a bit.

The details will probably decide again. However, we believe more in the paper favorite from Silesia. Experience is likely to be the deciding factor in a series. Although the skaters surprisingly eliminated the President’s Cup winners in the quarterfinals, the Steelmen are a team in the playoffs.

Five editors are betting on the result of the 4: 2 series, twice have been betting on the Steelmakers’ progress in the ratio of 4: 1 and 4: 3. Only one of us trusts skaters.

The steelworkers will win in the series with a ratio of 4: 2.

PRAGUE SPARTA ENGINE B&W

While Sparta’s participation in the semifinals is not such a big surprise, for České Budějovice it is a fairy tale that they only dreamed of at the beginning of this year. However, Jaroslav Modrý’s magic cap works on the Motor inverter, as does the whole team.

In the quarterfinals, Budweis Pardubice blew Dynamo 4: 1. Not that they were complete outsiders in the series, but the ambitions of Pardubice were certainly somewhere else.

Even Sparta was not lazy in the quarterfinals, not to mention the last match in the O2 Arena, in which a decision was waited for up to 104 minutes. But the last point was taken by the people of Prague, they defeated the White Tigers in a 4: 1 series.

In the history of the Czech highest competition, these teams competed together three times, each time Sparta rejoiced in the process. However, the last mutual measurement of forces in the playoffs took place in 2003, so we can hardly find any connection with this year’s semifinals.

Here, too, five of our editors think that Sparta will go to the finals with a 4: 2 ratio for matches. However, two votes fell on the Progress, so the average result is a little more balanced. Even so, he remains Sparta’s favorite.

Sparta wins the series with a 4: 2 ratio.
