At Sporting Charleroi, Matthieu Muland can hope for his debut as a professional soon. The eighteen-year-old defender currently plays for provincial club RFC Grez-Doiceau, but will move to Charleroi next season.
With that message comes The evening outwards. Kayij is still a noble unknown to most football followers, but as a barely eighteen-year-old defender already made an impression at RFC Grez-Doiceau. He is one of the great stars and sees that now also being rewarded with a transfer.
He will make the switch to Charleroi next summer, where he will first join the U21 of the club. However, that was not the only team that showed interest. Reportedly, RSC Anderlecht, KRC Genk and Oud-Heverlee Leuven also had his eye on him, but he chose the project at Charleroi for the chance of playing minutes.
Kayij played nineteen times this season for RFC Grez-Doicau, which is active in the First Provincial. In it he was good for six goals.
