Colomiers Judo Taïso Partners with UGSEL to Expand Judo in Private Schools
In a move to broaden access to judo, the US Colomiers Judo Taïso has joined forces with the General Sports Union for Free Education (UGSEL) to introduce judo programs in private schools across the region. The agreement, signed on March 4th, marks a significant step forward for both organizations.[[1]]
The partnership was solidified during a productive meeting between key figures from both organizations. Joël Lepetit and Stéphane Gajewski, president and vice-president of UGSEL Haute-Garonne, respectively, met with Alexandre Saby, president of the US Colomiers Judo Taïso, and Christophe Bozzo, the club’s technical director. This collaboration is expected to not only promote judo as a sport but also instill it’s core values in a new generation of students. Alexandre Saby, expressing his enthusiasm for the initiative, stated that this partnership represents a “new axis for the promotion of judo and its values, as well as a further step in the advancement of our club.” [[1]]
