The NFL suspended all of its COVID-19 protocols after reaching an agreement with the Players Association, citing recent trends that show the spread of the coronavirus is declining.

The league sent a memo to its 32 teams Thursday in which it mentioned “encouraging trends regarding the prevalence and severity of COVID-19, evolving CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines , changes in U.S. state law, and the advice of our respective experts” to justify the decision.
If the NFL ever needs to reinstate its COVID-19 protocols, then it will have to do so in partnership with the Players Association.
Teams are required to adhere to health guidelines in effect in their market and state, and may “maintain reasonable measures to protect the health of their staff and players,” read the memo, a copy of which was released. was obtained by the Associated Press.
