Eritrea is gold at the African Road Cycling Championships, which take place in Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt).
The Eritrean cyclists won the men’s team time trial ahead of the South Africans.
Eritrea won in 52 minutes 10 seconds, after a race of 42 kilometers. They narrowly won, 6 seconds ahead of the South African team, which came second. The South Africans clocked 52 minutes 16 seconds.
Algeria clinched bronze in 52 minutes 20 seconds. Started on Wednesday March 24, the 18th African Road Cycling Championships will end on Sunday March 27.
