They were sleeping peacefully in their home when an armed gang of thieves broke into the house from the garden, holding stones, knives and a club.
Three men with their faces covered have been captured from the video surveillance cameras while, on Sunday evening, they tried to do breaking into a house of Salford, UK, while inside there was a whole family that was sleeping. As shown in the pictures, the gang of thieves threw a large brick through the back patio window before stepping in, club-holding, and running upstairs to where the kids were sleeping. The father, when he realized the situation, immediately intervened: still upset he said that the group grabbed a knife from the kitchen before heading towards the stairs. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, explained to the Manchester Evening News: “We heard a bang, because they had broken a glass with a large brick and so they entered. They had a club and one took a knife from our kitchen drawers ”.

“I was upstairs in the bathroom, I ran out and saw that they were trying to climb upstairs, so I jumped on one of them and kicked them in the shoulder. He pulled me off my legs and I somehow managed to jump to my feet and my wife handed me a baseball bat as our neighbors came and knocked on the door. ” At that point the thieves they got scared and fled: “It was really terrifying but we’re fine, I only have a few bruises but it could have been a lot worse.” Although the family managed to save herself, the young daughter was terrified. The father said that a few hours earlier, while he was in the hospital with his seriously ill son, currently being treated for leukemia, he had received a warning from the security system display on his phone, reporting the presence of two men wandering in the back garden.

He said he had quickly called his wife, who was at home with their two children and her mother-in-law, who went downstairs and scared the men to leave. He returned home and just a couple of hours later, just before 11pm, the two men plus a third accomplice entered the back garden and broke in. The couple had decided to buy a baseball bat in case they needed to defend themselves after their car was stolen a few months ago. “I wasn’t having good feelings in the hospital, so I decided to leave my son with the ICU nurses and went home. Our neighbors were robbed a few months ago, so we bought a baseball bat in case something happened. In our street there have been at least four thefts in 18 months but we got the worst of it because we were at home “. The agents also intervened with a sniffer dog but at the moment they have not been able to identify any of the three. “Fortunately no one was hurt. They fled the scene empty-handed. An investigation is underway and investigators are following a series of lines of investigation, ”a police spokesperson said, asking anyone who has seen something to contact them or report it anonymously to Crimestoppers.
