The 4th edition of ARES Fighting Championship was held this Thursday evening at the Dôme de Paris. In front of around 2,000 spectators, the Frenchman Damien Lapilus (19 wins, 14 losses) won against the Brazilian Kaynan Kruschewsky (11 wins, two losses) after a good opposition. In difficulty in the 2nd round, the 33-year-old Parisian, member of the MMA Factory, was able to react with the support of the public to win by unanimous decision at the end of the 3rd and last round.
The co-main event of the evening opposed two undefeated strawweight fighters, Maria Silva and Ewelina Wozniak. The Brazilian kept an immaculate record (8 wins) by inflicting her first defeat on the Pole (6 wins, one loss) on a perfectly executed choke in the 3e round. Note that Abdoul Abdouraguimov will challenge his ARES welterweight belt, won at the beginning of February, against Karl Amoussou during the 7e edition of the ARES Championship scheduled for June 25th.
