Disqualification Mourinho, Roma renounces to appeal

Disqualification Mourinho, Roma renounces to appeal

The Giallorossi club does not want to fuel controversy, but remains irritated by the sentences attributed to the coach and the staff and by the leak of news before the official sanction

Roma renounces the appeal for the two-day disqualification of Josè Mourinho. The reason is that recognizing the confrontation on after the Rome-Verona match, the club prefers to take a step back towards the football institutions, specifically the FIGC and Aia. At the same time, Roma believe that most of the sentences attributed to Mou, Pinto and the two members of the disqualified staff (the goalkeeper trainer Nuno Santos and the athletic one Rapetti) are deeply inaccurate, in some cases just not true, and this to Trigoria did not like it. Enough to create a bit of alarm in the Giallorossi club.

Mou returns to Udine

Furthermore, as stated by GM Pinto before Spezia-Roma, the fact that the referees report came out in the press even before it arrived via pec in Trigoria is another aspect of the story on which the club wants to see clearly. And it will do so, in the appropriate places. For now, therefore, Mourinho will not be on the bench against Atalanta and will return to the league on March 13 in Udine against Udinese.
