Distanc. Sparta will lose three matches for Russian striker Stoljarov

A 35-year-old Moscow native served a five-minute sentence for his intervention from the beginning of the third period and until the end of the match for an illegal intervention in the head or neck area. Now the chairman of the disciplinary, Viktor Ujčík, has decided to suspend him.

“The intervention was directed at an opponent who had recently had a duel with another of the opponents. The intervention was not conducted at high speed and the player did not separate his hands from his body, but he violated the principle that he is obliged to proceed in such a way that he does not endanger the opponent’s health in a ruthless manner. In a collision led from the position of the so-called third player in the duel, he hit the opponent in the head area, “said Ujčík after studying the video.

Stoljarov, who came to Sparta at the end of January from Italy, will lose duels in Zlín, Karlovy Vary and at home with the Rams. He may not return to the matches until next Tuesday, when Sparta will have the last match of the basic part on the ice in Kladno.

Petr Fridrich from Vítkovice (Friday’s match with Kometa) and Ondřej Beránek from Karlovy Vary (Friday’s duel with Mladá Boleslav) were punished for a filmed downfall of ten percent of their monthly salary.
