“What a journey together, Marian! 15 years! You have been by my side during most of the most important and memorable moments, ”wrote the current No. 2 in the ATP Rankings on his official Twitter account.

Djokovic has collected 20 Grand Slams, 37 ATP Masters 1000 crowns and amassed 361 weeks as No. 1 in the ATP Rankings. The Slovakian coach has accompanied him during most of his successes.
“We have achieved the unattainable and I will always be grateful for your friendship and dedication. You will always be my family and I can’t thank you enough for everything,” the Balkan ended his statement.
His coaching staff, which until now was shared between Vajda and Goran Ivanisevic, will be left with the Croatian former World No. 2 and Wimbledon champion at the helm.
