Eukrainian former tennis player Alexandr Dolgopolovwho became number twelve in the ATP ranking in 2012, published a harsh message on his Twitter account next to the video of a alleged explosion of a ‘vacuum pump’illegally used in war conflicts, launched in Ukraine by Putin’s army:
“Just to understand the panic level of our enemy. Completely useless on the ground. Super army of clowns. This is a forbidden vacuum pump, in case you are interested. [Putin] He is unable to understand that he cannot win this except with complete nuclear destruction. The whole world completely hates Russia right now. Animals!“.
The vacuum pump referred to by Dolgopolov, also called bomba termobricaconsists of the explosion of a first charge of a gas (or fuel) that mixes with the oxygen of the atmosphere followed by a second detonation that rapidly consumes oxygen creating a vacuum and high temperature explosion that can kill by suffocation. It is a type of weapon prohibited by the Geneva Convention.
