Dwars door Vlaanderen will be the last leg test for Sunday’s Tour of Flanders tomorrow/Wednesday. Mathieu Van der Poel and Tadej Pogacar, among others, will be introduced to the Flemish roads. Last year Dylan van Baarle won after a tough solo. Follow the WorldTour course on this page.
- 09h 53. The route of this edition contains some newcomers. Risk points such as the Kluisberg, Taaienberg and the Stationsberg have been deleted so shortly before the Tour of Flanders for safety reasons. The Zeelstraat, the Stooktestraat and the Ladeuze will be introduced. The Stooktestraat is actually the road that the riders normally use as a descent after the Paterberg, but is now cut in the opposite direction. The Ladeuze is also usually a descent in the course, but today we go for the climbing side. †

- 4 pm 21. Dwars door Vlaanderen has become more difficult compared to previous editions. With riders like Mathieu van der Poel and Tadej Pogacar, it is difficult to predict where the race will break open. We’ll see. And if it does come to a group sprint, then we choose Jasper Philipsen. - 07h 12. No Jonas Rickaert and Jens Keukeleire. Jonas Rickaert misses the race from his region. The Belgian from Alpecin-Fenix is struggling with a sleeping leg. Jens Keukeleire also cancels: the rider of EF Education-EasyPost crashed in Gent-Wevelgem. “I have no fractures, but my hip was badly hit,” our 33-year-old compatriot said on Instagram. Therefore no Dwars door Vlaanderen to be recovered for the coming races. †
