Latvian skiers each managed to complete two stages and were overtaken by a circle between the fifth and sixth kilometers, being in the 14th place at that time. Before that, the leaders had passed three duos.

Eiduka showed the 15th and 10th results in his intermediate finishes, but Vigants – the third and 14th.

Sweden’s first duo Jonna Sundling and Kalle Halvashon celebrated a convincing victory, covering a total distance of 12 kilometers in 23 minutes and 5.91 seconds.

The fight for the second place went between two Norwegian duets, winning silver for the second pair. Tiril Weng and Martin Levström Niengets beat their compatriots Lot Weng and Harall Estberg Amunnsen by seven hundredths of a second, but lost more than ten seconds to the winners.

This was preceded by a mixed relay, with the first time the US team of Rosie Brenan, Lex Ketterson, Scott Patterson and Jesse Digins won the victory.

The last stage of the World Cup took place in Falun, as the originally scheduled end of the season in the Russian city of Tyumen was canceled due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
