Elche beat Granada 0-1 at the Nuevo Los Cármenes with a goal from Fidel Chaves in the 11th minute and, after two straight defeats, spoiled Rubén Torrecilla’s debut on the bench for the rojiblanco team, who did not react to the change and links ten days without winning.
Fidel scored the only goal of the clash in an entertaining first half in which the locals missed several clear chances and the visitors went from less to more, while in the second Granada pressed with more heart than football in search, at least, of a tie that did not come, among other things due to the good interventions of the goalkeeper Édgar Badía.
