Gresini Ducati racer Enea Bastianini win MotoGP Qatar 2022 at the Losail Circuit, Sunday (6/3), by beating Brad Binder.

The worst decline was experienced by Jack Miller. The Australian racer was in 14th position on the fifth lap despite starting from fourth position. Miller then failed to finish on lap 9 after deciding to return to the garage.
The new position change occurred on the sixth lap. Marquez’s mistake at the first corner was used by Binder to move up to second position. Bastianini also finally succeeded in overtaking Mir on this lap. One lap later Bastianini who used the Desmosedici GP21 successfully overtook Marquez.

Bad luck then experienced Ducati at the beginning of the 12th lap. Francesco Bagnaia made a mistake at corner one, crashed, and swept away Jorge Martin in the process. Bagnaia later apologized to Martin after the incident.
Bastianini was finally able to move up to second place on the 14th lap. The fight between Pol Espargaro vs Bastianini then ensued. Had a lead of more than 1 second, Pol was only 0.6 seconds adrift of Bastianini on lap 17. On this lap Marquez lost fourth position after being overtaken by Aleix Espargaro.
