At home, Engleholm’s Rogle beat the Finnish team Tappara in Tampere 2: 1 (1: 0, 1: 0, 0: 1).
Daniel Zārs scored both goals for the home team, but “Tappara” managed to play only one goal. This was done by Valteri Merela.
The strongest of the Latvian hockey players in the tournament was the striker Rolands Vīgners and the French team Rouen “Dragons”, who conceded to the Tampere hockey players in the quarterfinals.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2020/2021 season, the tournament was not played, but the Gothenburg “Frolunda” of the season was won 3: 1 by Hradec Kralov “Mountfield”, which included Oskars Cibulskis.
The tournament took place for the first time in the 2014/15 season.
