Eredivisie clubs do not want BeNeLiga due to lack of support

Feyenoord, PSV, Ajax, FC Utrecht, Vitesse and AZ took part in the study on behalf of the Eredivisie to start a BeNeLiga. That investigation has been discontinued because it has become clear to the clubs that there is too little support for such a competition within Dutch football.

At the beginning of this month, a delegation of Dutch and Belgian clubs had a meeting with UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin and the top of his organization. A few weeks later, the plans were canceled.
