A single bogey during the moving day for Ewen Ferguson, 25, looking for a first success on the DP World Tour. While in the part succeeding him, Kawamura (72, +1) and Sharma (75, +4) neutralized each other, the Scot exploited his “bon momentum” to continue scoring. New card of 66 (-5) this Saturday – as in the first round – to add a third different name to the top of the leaderboard in as many rounds.
Ferguson: ‘Amazing to be in the running’
Ferguson spoke after his moving day: “It’s obviously amazing to be in the race, but I think with everything that’s going on in the world right now, golf isn’t that important. I will do my best tomorrow and I will try to win but I will have other chances to do so later in any case.“
Pavon 8th, Brown 24th
Good day for the Blues, who all beat the course. The best card is from Matthieu Pavon, a 68 (-3) to grab two places in the standings. Julien Brun signs a 69 (-2) and wins a small place. Antoine Rozner (50th), Frederic Lacroix and Adrien Saddier (52nd) all played -1 (70) today.
