The courts of tennis the Kempes Sports Polo They dressed up in gala with the presence of the paralympic tennis player Ezequiel Casco, who gave a motivational talk and a tennis exhibition, after the end of the day of the Tournament organized by the Cordoba Tennis Federation.
During the day, in addition to sharing their life experience, many young people and adults were able to get closer to the Paralympic medalist and interact on the court to experience the experience of playing wheelchair tennis.
The grand finale of the day was the announcement of the opening of the adapted tennis school at the Kempes Sports Center, which will begin on April 4 and for which the “Law on Wheels” Foundation donated a chair.
“A little shocked, but in a good way. I did not know that here in Córdoba there was so much movement in adapted tennis. I am very grateful to everyone. This for me is planting a little seed and from there it is already a means to change the lives of many people. Sport changes you, which is what happened to me from a very young age. I aim to transmit the same thing that was transmitted to me”said Ezequiel Casco.
Ezequiel approached the sport in a particular way: while he was walking through a shopping mall with his family, a tennis coach saw him and invited him to join the activity. Fernando San Martín spoke with his mother and finally joined the school of the Argentine Association of Adapted Tennis.
Casco, currently comes from competing in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, which is his second participation in the world’s top event for this athlete.
In Rio 2016, the most important achievement of Ezequiel’s career took place: the gold medal in the men’s double with Gustavo Fernández.
