Liepāja residents won the Salaspils “Super Nova” team with the result 3: 1 (1: 1) in their field.
The game started with active “Liepājas” attacks, and already in the second minute the home team had the opportunity to change the result of the match. The attacks continued and the first goal was scored in the second ten minutes of the match.

“Liepāja” took the third place in the Super League last year, winning medals for the first time since 2017, when they managed to finish in the second place.
Meanwhile, Super Nova, the league’s newcomer, took third place in the Optibet Future League last season.
On Saturday, in other first-round matches of the Premier League, “Riga” will meet with “Valmiera”, Jūrmala “Spartaks” with RFS, but on Sunday there will be “Daugavpils” and “Tukums 2000” / “Telms”, as well as “Metta” and “Auda” fights.
Ten teams will play in the 2022 Super League. In the Premier League championship last season, for the first time in the history of the club, RFS triumphed, “Valmiera” took the second place, and “Liepāja” won bronze awards. In the previous three seasons, the champion team “Riga” took the fourth place.
The teams of Auda, Tukums 2000 / TSS and Super Nova took the first three places in the season of the Optibet Future League, joining the top league clubs.
The games are scheduled to take place in four rounds from March 11 to November 13.
