Fewer cameras during Eredivisie matches after Vitesse disturbances

Not all cameras are used at the football matches in the Eredivisie today and tomorrow. The companies that supply the cameramen find some camera positions too risky and no longer want to man them.

That has to do with the disturbances yesterday at Vitesse against Sparta. In the stoppage time of that match, a fan entered the field, objects were thrown on the field and the Sparta goalkeeper was hit by a cup. Also, a fireworks bomb exploded near a cameraman next to the field.
