This Sunday, February 27, 2022, the first competition of the Liguria-Piedmont Archery Championship took place at the Finale Archery Shooting Field, sector of the Polisportiva del Finale ASD, located in Le Manie, Finale Ligure. of country.
The event was attended by as many as 100 archers coming mainly from the two regions of Liguria and Piedmont, but also from other places, such as Lombardy or the Island of Elba.
The Championship included competitions aimed at the different shooting categories and the age of the participants, with shooters aged between 8 and 80 years.
As for our Final Archers, who obtained excellent placings among adults, including two gold medals, (Freestyle category Rigardo Paolo, reigning Italian Champion and Ricurvo Barducci Walter category), and a silver medal (Forte Giancarlo always in the Recurve category), we would like to congratulate, in particular, the athletes of the Recurve Bow Puppies category, who have brought home great satisfactions, at their first experience.
In the men’s category they win the gold medal Luzi Raffaele and the silver medal Costa Massimiliano.
In the female category, she won the silver Mattone Alice medal.
In communicating these exciting victories, we take this opportunity to announce, today’s news, that our Final Archers have been assigned, in collaboration with the Wakinpajan Archers of Calizzano, the organization of the Italian Campaign Archery Championship. 2022.
The event, which will be held from 7 to 11 September in Calizzano, is sponsored by the Liguria Region, the Province of Savona, the Municipality of Calizzano and the Municipality of Finale Ligure; and more than 500 participants are already expected, coming from all over Italy!
