The representatives of the TSV were Juan Delgado, Rafael Jiménez and the still cadets Paula Pérez, Jaime Pérez and Javier Rodríguez.
Juan Delgado and Jaime Perez, both in the category of -60 kilos, after a good tournament by the two judokas, were forced to dispute the place for the National in the fight for the best third, both obtaining the bronze in said category but achieving the desired Juan Delgado Square. For its part, Rafael Jimenezwho has been making very good progress in recent weeks, had an excellent competition, losing only in the final to the Canarian representative, and thus settling for a well-deserved silver and his place guaranteed for the Spanish championship.
The same fate befell the Almonte Paula Perez, who achieved a well-fought silver in the -63 kg category, thus also achieving his ticket to the Junior National, despite still belonging to the cadet category. Finally, Javier Rodriguezafter a very demanding competition, was left at the gates of the classification, with a bronze but without a place, since Marco Caro, also from Andalusia, won the fight for best third.
