“Friday Night Baseball” starts with top games in the league

“Friday Night Baseball” will premiere on April 8th and begin with two major games televised on Apple TV+.

The first half of the 2022 Friday Night Baseball program was held on Tuesday released and includes all games that will be available on the service from April 8th to June 24th. Each of the 12 Fridays includes two MLB games streamed live to viewers around the world. The first Friday, April 8th, begins with the New York Mets game against the Washington Nationals, followed by the Houston Astros game against the Los Angeles Angels. Future matches and other broadcast features, including pre- and post-match coverage, will be announced at a later date.

“Friday Night Baseball”: A big coup for Apple TV+

As part of Friday Night Baseball, fans can watch the most important games without local broadcast restrictions. The weekly double header will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Korea and the United Kingdom and is free for a limited time without requiring an Apple TV+ subscription. Friday Night Baseball games can be viewed on any device capable of playing Apple TV+ content, including Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Mac, supported Smart TVs, gaming consoles and cable set-top boxes. Friday Night Baseball is a major coup for Apple as it marks the company’s entry into the live sports broadcast arena.
