After two years of cessation due to the pandemic, the rich foundation opens tomorrow at 9:30 in the morning, the eleventh version of the Villa Altagracia Baseball RBI Tournament, with dedication to the immortal former star of Cooperstown Juan Marichal, in coordination with the office in Dominican Republic Major League Baseball (MLB).
The ceremony will take place in the stadium Daniel Acevedo of the old industry Role of Villa Altagracia, headed by the president of Rica Foundation, Mr. Julio Virgilio Brache Álvarezinformed the executive director of said foundation Wenceslao Soto, who added that the event will also be attended by the executive of the Rica Braulio Brache Álvarez Group.
Numerous personalities have confirmed their attendance in support of Marichal such as the RBI 2022 tournament, such as the Minister of Sports Francisco Camachothe member of International Olympic Committee Luis Mejía, the National Junior Baseball Commissioner Noboa, baseball figures such as Winston -Chilote- Llenas, Moisés Alou, Julián Javier and other guests.

It will also have the assistance of other sports, municipal and industrial personalities, related to the Rica Corporate Group, which makes great contributions to the municipality of Villa Altagracia in the fields of education, the environment, health and sports.
For the eleventh time, the RBI Fundación Rica baseball of Villa Altagracia will have the participation of 220 players divided into 12 teams, four by category of 12-13, 14-15 and 16-18 years. They come from various neighborhoods of Villa Altagracia, the rural communities of Básima, Guananito, San José del Puerto, Kilometers 61 and 63 of the Duarte Highway, among others in the municipality.
Wenceslao Soto added that this year it will be played in the San José del Puerto and Básima stadiums, after the tournament could not be held in 2021 or 2021, due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
