Charles: EuroLeague is competitive, man. These guys are ballin’. Don’t sleep on them. Lo, Thiemann, Obst – these are respectable players who bring experience and toughness to the German team. The quality of play is high, they’ve developed a lot of good talent, and it’s getting better every year.
Speaking of toughness, Germany showed a lot of it coming back from that 15-point deficit. What do you see as the biggest strength of this German squad?
Charles: They’re a resilient bunch, that’s for sure. But their biggest strength might be their balance. You’ve got guys who can score, guys who can defend, guys who can pass.
