Luxury fashion house Gucci reaffirms it’s dedication to gender equality with the launch of a special capsule collection in honor of International Women’s Day. This initiative goes beyond stylish apparel, aiming to make a tangible impact by supporting a network of organizations championing gender equality worldwide.

The collection, developed in collaboration with Gucci’s global campaign “Chime for Change,” features a T-shirt and baseball cap emblazoned with the powerful message “Generation Equality.” This bold statement serves as a call to action, raising awareness and inspiring change.

Gucci’s commitment extends beyond symbolic gestures. The brand is channeling proceeds from the capsule collection to empower feminist and activist groups led by women from historically marginalized communities. These include organizations like Women Enabled International, advocating for the rights of women with disabilities, and OutRight Action International, fighting for LGBTQ+ equality. Other beneficiaries include the Global Fund for Women, Young Feminist Europe, the National Political Assembly of Indigenous Women, and the continental Link of indigenous Women, all working tirelessly to advance gender justice.

These groups are frequently enough underfunded and underrepresented, yet they are making a profound difference in the lives of marginalized women around the world. Gucci’s support will undoubtedly empower these organizations to expand their reach and impact.
