Get ready, Hidalgo! The state is set too become a hub of sporting excitement this spring, hosting a series of macro-regional championships across multiple disciplines. Mark your calendars for a month packed with action, starting with the judo championships from April 1st to 3rd, followed by the women’s soccer tournament from April 22nd to 24th. both events will take place in Pachuca and San Agustín Tlaxiaca, respectively.

Judo: Aiming for Gold

The Hidalguense and High Performance Sports Center in Bella Airosa will be the battleground for judo enthusiasts. This discipline has consistently brought home the most medals for hidalgo in recent years, making it a strong contender for top honors.

Soccer: Showcasing Female Talent

The University of Soccer will host the women’s soccer tournament, providing a platform for talented athletes to showcase their skills.

Chess and Charrería: Expanding the Sporting Landscape

Adding to the excitement, Hidalgo will also host regional stages for chess and charrería. Chess enthusiasts can look forward to a competition held at a hotel in the state capital from March 17th to 20th. Simultaneously occurring, the Cuna de la Charrería, located south of Pachuca, will be the stage for the charrería event on March 19th.
