En a strategic moment for the WTA, women’s tennis today announced the name of a new sponsor who will also name the women’s circuit in what is an unprecedented and historic alliance.
This is Hoologic, one of the world’s largest medical technology developers, focused on improving women’s health and wellness.
“Hologic and the WTA come together with a collective purpose as advocates for women,” said Steve MacMillan, the company’s president and chief executive officer. “We are proud to support the WTA in its commitment to the highest integrity and values.”
It is the first time in 10 years that the women’s tour will have a corporate name since it was called the Sanex WTA Tour.
