Independiente Medellín and adidas presented the new DIM 2022 shirt: see the designs |  Colombian Soccer |  Betplay League

This Tuesday, March 8, Deportivo Independiente Medellín presented, together with the German brand Adidas, its new jersey for the 2022 season. After 11 years with Puma, the powerful will be with the three-line brand. The main uniform will be red with the lateral lines of the brand in white, the traditional shield and the different logos in white, while the substitute will be dark blue with white trim. The shorts for the starting shirt will be blue, while the substitute will be red, both adapted to the Adidas Campeón 21 template.

Deportivo Independiente Medellín launches a new clothing sponsor. Adidas, the world’s leading German sports brand, will from now on dress the powerful mountain club.

Players and fans will wear garments that feature Aeroready technology and are made with yarns made from recycled materials to enhance their performance on the pitch and deliver a message of sustainability off it.

“After many years of experience in which adidas has been a sponsor of the most emblematic clubs in the country, we want to enhance learning to become the benchmark sports brand for fans and players, the one that knows the culture, the dreams, the idiosyncrasy and the motivations of an entire country”: Juan Motta, Marketing Director of adidas Colombia.

“For us it is a pride to add adidas to the Red Family and enter the elite of world sponsors in what has to do with sports clothing. Our fans, who feel this shirt as if it were their skin, will wear a new high quality Sagrada, with which together, fans, sponsor and club, we will begin to build a new story of triumphs and love”, said Daniel Ossa Giraldo, President Executive of El Equipo del Pueblo SA

Medellín signed a four-year agreement with the clothing firm, the shirts will be on sale from this Wednesday, March 9 through the Adidas and DIM websites at a cost of $209,900 each. From Thursday, March 10, they will be available in Medellín and selected stores in Bogotá.
