Medellín Women Secure Back-to-Back Victories in Liga Femenina

Independiente medellín continued their impressive start to the Liga Femenina season,claiming a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Deportivo Pereira at Envigado’s Polideportivo Sur stadium on Wednesday. This win marks their second consecutive triumph, building on their recent 1-0 away victory against Orsomarso.

Goals from Greicy Landázury in the 24th minute and Sara Córdoba in the 71st minute secured the three points for the Antioquia side.

With this result, Medellín climbs to third place in the league standings, accumulating six points. Thay are currently tied with Llaneros and Atlético Junior, who occupy the first and second positions respectively.

Meanwhile, Atlético Nacional will be looking to join the winning teams when they face Real Santander on Thursday at 11:00 am. The match will take place at the Villa Concha stadium in Piedecuesta.
