While he’s undoubtedly one of the greatest players of all time, Medvedev, Zverev, Nadal, Tsitsipas, and Berrettini have all proven themselves capable of winning major titles. It’s going to be a battle royale in the desert.
moderator: On the women’s side, we’ve seen the rise of some incredibly talented young players like Krejcikova, Sabalenka, and Swiatek. were do you see the women’s game heading?
Chris Evert: These young women are incredibly strong, athletic, and fearless. They’re not afraid to take risks and go for thier shots. It’s refreshing to see. I think the women’s game is becoming more diverse and unpredictable, which makes it even more exciting to watch.
Moderator: And with the return of Indian Wells to its traditional timeframe, do you think that will impact the play?
